This is just a part of some work I've been doing recently. There's more to come.

Musical Instrument Sketches

My computer had to go for repairs so I did a few sketches to keep myself occupied. It was a nice excuse to do some ink/ paint work and ignore all digital work.

Nudel brand work

I recently completed some branding for Nudel, a new noodle bar in Falkirk. The job included logo, flyer, menu board,  front sign and window stickers. This is far more design based than my other work but I still really enjoyed it. Here is the final logo and one of the pages of sketchbook work that went into making it.

New Packaging Project

This is the new project that I uploaded to my website on Wednesday. It's really just my own take on the Whittard of Chelsea hot chocolates. I love their current packaging so I kept a few aspects of it since they work really well. These ones are slightly taller and slimmer than the current packaging and the layout is simple and to the point on both the front and back. It was great working on a cylindrical wrapper as it's not something I've done before now and its been a while since I worked on something 3D. Originally I had considered making two of my own flavours, cherry and vanilla but I decided 5 was really enough without adding any extra.

Now that it's Autumn I'm having a bit of trouble with my photography studio (a.k.a outside in daylight) because it's really wet and windy, so I took the photos indoors but some of them came out great despite the dim lighting. You can have a proper look at the project on my website www.lorenharrison.co.uk

Coming Soon

My latest project is ready for print and will appear here and on my website as soon as I've photographed it. In the mean time here's a little preview...

Feel good drinks poster

I've uploaded my new Feel Good Drinks poster to my website. It's really my first poster for this kind of advertising and I had loads of fun with it. I had the idea for this one very quickly and the illustrations for the poster were made and put together very quickly too which was great because it meant I didn't get bored or frustrated with it. Actually piecing it together on screen was a different story though but I have to admit the time I was working with it on screen was extremely fragmented. In the end the most effective communication was the simplest.

Online Shop Sorted!

You may have noticed my shop disappeared for a bit there. Well it's back again safe and sound now. There's not much on it at the moment but the stuff that's there is new (mostly work I've been doing over the summer). I'll continue to add more new and previous work so keep an eye on it.
